Earlier in 2011, The New Era times asked me to write a monthly column for their online spiritual journal based in Houston, TX. While considering what I would share, I considered continuing one of my previous columns, "Sanctuary," Spiritual Journeys with Sandy Penny. The energy did not feel right at this time, so I meditated on it and described it to a few friends. My friend Sue Ebling said, "That sounds like a traveler's dream." And, it hit me that the name for the column should be that, "Traveler's Dream." And so it is.
I have definitely traveled in the outer world and the inner worlds, and mostly it has all been like a dream, a magical, mystical dream. I found that quote by Eleanor Roosevelt, who I love, and it was perfect as a subtitle.
At this time in our transition to the new age, I thought offering a little bit of the road map that has guided me might help the new awakeners and those who are confused by the changes happening in them and the world. Now, I'm sharing those articles with you via The New Era Times site.
Traveler's Dream
I first wrote about Reincarnation and Past Life influences, fears and patterns that affect our current lives.
Are You Living in the Past?"When I was first learning about metaphysical subjects, I believed in reincarnation, but I had no particular interest in pursuing the subject. I figured, what’s in the past is past, and I was focused on improving my present and future. Then a funny thing happened. I met a person I felt so connected with that it was embarrassing how I was feeling. I felt like I was really happy to see him again, like a long lost friend, but we had never met before. The connection was so strong and mutual, I couldn’t ignore it." read more
Then, in response to the big changes people are experiencing, I penned a little life is like surfing metaphor in the hope that it would lighten people up and give them a new way of looking at current events.
Surf's Up
"These days, the “life is like surfing” metaphor is definitely appropriate. What seems like a big wave of energy hits, and you start paddling with it, trying to take advantage of the moment, and suddenly it drops. What now? Did you misread the signs? Did you try to force something that was not meant to be? Not necessarily. We are moving through so many changes in this major “shift” that what’s appropriate in one moment may already have passed by the time you make a decision." read more
Then I became acutely aware of the fear in the group consciousness and how much paranoia and panic was showing up for people. The group consciousness was rampant with end of the world scenarios and poverty consciousness as jobs declined and unemployment rose. Fortunately, my guides showed me the positive vision of what can be if we get on board with it. Jobs will give way to heart centered businesses, and we will choose to do what we love and be paid for it. So I wrote ...
Survival or Thrival?
"Have you noticed the word “thrive” showing up all over the place these days? There’s a whole thrive movement now. When I was shown a positive future vision in 1994, I was told that now is the time we have to move out of survival mode into thrival mode. At a time when many people are not thriving as well as they did in the past, we are being asked to shift our consciousness into a new paradigm, that 'we can be paid to do what we love, and the measure of success is joy.'” read more
Sharing my experiences, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual is my greatest dream. Please share me with your friends and keep reading if you enjoy my travels.
Lovely to hear from you Sandy and to share your musings. Have a wonderful magical festive season and keep on dreaming of that return visit to Norfolk Island way down south in the Antipedes. Love and a hug from Robin Adams
