Be the New Paradigm

Happy 2012. I told all of you that I would only be writing newsletters when I felt an important subject was up for review and that I could offer helpful advice on moving elegantly through the shift this year. This is the first of those newsletters. I hope you like it and that it is helpful for you. Please let me know how the shift is going for you. I love being a part of your manifesting.

New Paradigm Chakra Exercise:
I receive loads of blogs and newsletters from other spiritual writers, and I have identified an aspect of spiritual practice that is limiting how much power we can claim. It involves an exercise that I have participated in for years, and it’s a good one for making an initial shift, but it’s rapidly becoming outdated.

When we do a chakra balancing and energizing, we usually open the crown chakra and bring energy down through each chakra, or we open the bottoms of our feet and pull energy up through our chakras. Both work, and both are useful, and here’s the new key: this exercise still assumes that the energy is outside of us, that it comes from somewhere else and we have to draw it into us. If we are expressions of the god energy, then finding that energy within and radiating it may be the highest expression of our god self. Nothing needs to be added to us to make us whole. We only need to find the oneness that is our true nature and be what we already are.

This is not a new idea. I’ve heard it before from other people, occasionally, but those same people often use these same separationist exercises, like I did. Unaware that they are perpetuating a myth of separation, they set up an internal conflict that keeps them locked in an old paradigm.

Also, we usually think of chakras as balls of energy spinning in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, depending on their polarity. In this new age, we are releasing the need to have a polarized reality. That’s why we see so many polarizations surfacing these days for us to recognize how much it does not serve us to polarize issues and people. Focusing on the good of the whole is the new paradigm.

I was shown chakras that are like gyroscopes, with a clockwise and counterclockwise spin that, together, generate energy. It resembles how we illustrate nuclear power. Our bodies become perpetual motion machines, constantly recharging our energy, and making more as needed to share with others. The new paradigm model is like mother’s milk, the more the infant nurses, the more milk is generated to fill the need. This also applies to sharing love and good will with others. The more we share, the more we generate love and good will.
All the workable systems in the new age will work on the mother’s milk principle, thereby eliminating lack if we embrace the Aquarian model of the water bearer who has a pitcher that never empties. I know to many this sounds like a pollyanna philosophy without a basis in reality. I’ve been shown several new systems that function this way, including a ‘new’ water system that is now being unveiled. Watch for more on that coming soon all over the internet. We have everything we need to solve all the challenges we humans have created if we give up our separationist fear-based philosophies and embrace our universal abundance.

You can begin to embrace this philosophy by connecting with your inner power and radiate outward into the world a wave of love and abundance everywhere it flows. Let the flood gates of love be open and flowing to erase the illusion that prevents the manifestation of our highest and best reality. A reality in which all can thrive, not just survive. You can recognize that your nuclear chakras are already generating everything you need to step into this new reality. The choices have been made by our collective consciousness.

It’s time to begin living your new reality. It’s time to be who you truly are - who you came here at this very time to be. Who are you?

Gyroscope Chakra Exercise

Rethink how you clear them. Go inside into your heart center and radiate out from your godself into each chakra envisioned as a gyroscope that has a rotating clockwise and counterclockwise energy, and use only white light and not the individual chakra colors to raise the energy and transmute old energy. Then radiate love to the various chakra correspondences - like root chakra - radiate peace to the world and to all its people and systems. 2nd chakra (naval), radiate love to create sacred relationships. 3rd chakra (solar plexus) - radiate clear thinking and decision making. 4th chakra (heart) - radiate unconditional love throughout the universe. 5th chakra (throat) - radiate clear communication. 6th chakra (brow) - radiate clear vision for a new world. 7th chakra (crown) - radiate divine connection with the entire universe and clarity of divine connections. Then see your entire energy system as a gyroscope with you as the middle pillar. This is your Merkabah, spiritual energy body, activate the spins.

Working with the chakras affects every aspect of your life on many different levels. As you activate your gyrosocpic energy, invoke divine thought, divine speech, divine action. This will raise your vibration to new levels and clear any resistances and old patterns.

Wow, can you believe it, a newsletter from me? I've been kind of incommunicado lately since leaving the Albuquerque NM area and returning to Houston.

1.  My update: I headed back to Houston in July for a great live-in shamanic marketing project, a beautiful 5-bedroom house, high speed internet, great air conditioning and an organic garden in the back yard. I was scheduled to do the website and marketing for the foremost authority on palm trees and help him develop his speaker circuit activities. Sounded great. I'd be staying at his beautiful home and working closely to help him make this transition. Well, as Spirit loves to chane our plans, his house sold the day I left Albuquerque, and he agreed to move out quickly for some extra dollars. The sale of the house also changed his ideas about what to do next with his business, so, long story short, no project. After spending a couple of months in the desert with no AC, I was so looking forward to some comfort and a little luxury R&R.
Sooo, I said to myself, what am I doing back in Houston in the middle of the hottest summer on record with no apparent plans?? All silent on the guide front. Yoo hoo, anybody listening? I moved into my youngest son's apartment that he shares with my friend Laura and have been spending my days writing and trying to figure out what's next for me. Nothing in Houston is compelling me to stay here. And, I'd love for my guides to send me here in November instead of July for once. But, that's part of the adventure of living the spiritual life and following my guidance. Not like it's never happened before. Usually a change of plans means a  big adventure that unfolds as I yield to the energy. Good news is my skin is amazingly rehydrated after being dehydrated in New Mexico. Even if Houston is not getting a lot of rain, it is still humid from the gulf coast an hour away.

Before I left New Mexico, I connected with Dr. Bera who is a naturopath who is creating an amazing healing retreat center in the Zuni Mountains. She really wanted me to come there, but was in the middle of remodeling, so it wasn't opportune for me to go directly there when my time in Albuquerque ended. However, we've been chatting since I arrived in Houston, and we are making plans for me to go there at the beginning of October. I do feel the energy stream in that direction. She really needs my mad marketing skills, and I need a place to write. Seems like a good fit. And another bonus, my son wants to go and work on the project as well. Perhaps I just came down here to rev him up to go back to the moutains. I'll be redoing this website, but here's some info for those who want to connect: http://bastis.org/.

2. Ascension symptoms and solar flares: All this year, solar flare activity has amped up and we have had some almost direct hits. When the solar flare energy hits our geomagnetic grid, it causes sattelite interference which can affect our communications and satellite TV, computers, etc.
In addition, our personal energy grid is being upgraded and if you're not aligned with the upgrade, some symptoms are occuring. Vision: flashes of light in the peripheral vision indicating an expansion of our multidimensional vision. This can be accompanied by active dreaming, sometimes scary if there is unprocessed fear lingering. The solar energy is burning off detritus. Headaches: as the brain gets adjusted, some people are experiencing headaches. Also stomach upsets are prevalent. I posted these symptoms on my Facebook page and was amazed at how many people were experiencing the same things. Encouragement: If you feel that you already have a positive vision of your new life and it hasn't landed yet, don't despair, the energy that is breaking down old systems is freeing up energy for us to use to create our new lives. Stay the course, keep seeing what you truly want and keep funding it with love, joy and positive images. Keep doing the things that amp up your passion, make you come alive and fill you with happiness. There's a lot of stop and start as new ideas manifest or almost manifest. Spontaneous Evolution & The Shift Within & Without

My friend Susan Ebling introduced me to Bruce Lipton several years ago. He has been able to bridge the gap between science and spirit for those who have not been able to see it. In this time when we talk about the SHIFT all the time, few have been able to articulate what that means, but Bruce Lipton shows it to us in a way that allows us to take it in and use it.

Back in the 70s when I awakened and began to consciously develop my relationship with Spirit and build my spiritual power structure, I knew, without a doubt, that I was a changed person. My life changed, my way of thinking changed, my emotional awareness and sense of responsibility changed. And the most powerful lesson I learned was that, "When I thought I could do something, I could." When it dawned on me that I was capable of doing something like healing, tune in to psychic and future information and trends, see angels, talk with my light being guides, understand archetypal symbols and know my purpose and path, I immediately gained those abilities. The test of whether you have truly integrated a belief and shifted it into knowing is whether it works for you in your life.

Knowing something intellectually is not true knowing. Mentally accepting the possibility is a step toward true knowing, but it is not the same thing. True knowing requires action in the direction of your convictions, and that results in confirmation of your reality. Action may be waiting for the appropriate timing, and that is the most difficult thing for many of us.

Most of us understand that we can make ourselves sick through stress, negative thinking, fear, etc., but when it comes to making ourselves well, the process sometimes breaks down. We go into denial, resort to only physical ways of handling the problem (like drugs, herbs or other modalities). Those modalities help and can be appropriate to bolster your internal physical system enough to let you get to the cause of the dis-ease. However, unless you own the emotional and spiritual connection to the illness, it will keep returning. Bruce Lipton and Wayne Dyer discuss some of the underlying processes at work in these videos.

Working with the Angels & Elementals for Clearing Land

My spiritual teacher, Kip Davidson, who was a 7th generation celtic healer and angelic teacher, taught me how to interact respectfully with all the earth beings that share and co-create this garden we live in. If you do not like to work with in the dirt and dig in the garden, visualize the beauty of flowers and other plants and trees while sending love and smiling energy to nature. That is how I usually work with nature, and I do my part to honor the planet in other ways too.

Since so many people are asking what they can do to help as the planet makes all these shifts and changes, I am offering this wise advice from Molly Sheehan. Here's the way Molly recommends to help clear the land.

A MESSAGE FROM THE IRISH ELEMENTALS (Nature spirits) on St. Patrick's Day 3/17/2011

“We have “seen it all” however we have seen too much of some things and too little of others. This project (Green Hope Farm in NH) re-animates our interest in things human because it works with us versus against us, as is more often the case.

We steady this planet. We steady our emerald island. Most often, we steady against the imprecations of humans. But we find in this project (Green Hope Farm in NH), humans working to steady the planet with us. We thank you one and all for working with Flower Essences and working to both balance yourself and your worlds. We need you. We need you most intently right now. Much water is coming unless more of you concentrate on this steadying work. It is okay if this water comes. We say again, if waters come, it will be alright. We have seen waters come and waters go. The essential you survives even if you go through the death process. The earth and human communities can be restored after such floods. We can rebuild, we can remake, we can reinvigorate when such things as water cleanse the Earth but it is much labor that would not be necessary if more humans come to the fore with their own steadying efforts.

What do we mean by steadying? Your efforts to find balance in your lives matter. Your efforts to balance your impact on your environment matters. We want to clarify that while your “ecological footprint” is grossly out of balance in the western world, the most pressing need is for you to work on your emotional footprint. What do we mean by this? We mean you must stop leaving your emotional chaos littering the natural world.

You must invoke us to clear it from the land you inhabit. We hope you will deal with the imbalances of your giving and receiving relationship with us and live with us more as partners than in a master/servant dynamic HOWEVER, the most pressing need is for you to clear the environment of your emotional garbage.

We asked Molly to put a basic procedure for land cleansing after our message. You may think that your contribution to this effort could not make any difference. You would be wrong in this. We were interested in Molly’s farm, small though it is, because, in part, the routine energetic cleansing done at this farm has helped in a significant way. We speak in a united voice with our brethren Elementals of the New World when we speak of the significance of energetic cleansing. Every place that is routinely cleared, no matter how small, has an exponential effect in terms of restoring the Earth.

You like to think of us as the little people of the old country; magic, mischievous, ancient, wise, guardians of earth treasures. We may be all these things. We would most certainly like to come into deeper communion with you and share our world view. If you want to begin a deeper relationship by helping us in some way, doing any variation of the following process would be much appreciated. Green Blessings!

INTRODUCTION TO LAND CLEANSING from Molly

Negativity builds up on land in many ways. Human discord of any kind settles on the land where the discord took place. If you have a temper tantrum in your backyard, that energy remains in your backyard. Even the most pristine piece of land, uninhabited by humans, will have negativity delivered to it by wind and precipitation. For example, rain clears the atmosphere of negativity but leaves this negativity on the land.

This discord stays in the land UNTIL the negativity is either cleansed energetically in conscious cooperation with Nature (ie the Angels and Elementals) or is forcibly removed through extreme weather such as hurricanes, thunderstorms, floods, etc.

When land is energetically cleaned, the vibration is raised and the negativity is dissolved or transmuted without any side effects. Elementals and Angels, particularly the Elementals, do the actual energy cleansing but this group CANNOT do this work in the same benign way unless a human asks them to do it. Asking for this cleansing must been done by a human. It is one of our vital roles in the co-creation and maintenance of Earth.

If a human doesn’t ask for energy cleansing for a piece of land and this land is holding a lot of negativity, the Elementals only options for removing this negativity is extreme weather. Because the Elementals are supposed to keep the planet in form, steadying and balancing it as we go, they WILL clear land that is very negative in order to help this balancing process. Without our help, big weather events are the operative mechanism for such clearings.

ENERGY CLEANSING PROCESS from Molly

If you can do this every day, this is of maximum benefit to land you live and work on, but even occasional cleansing will be a great help! It should not take more than a few minutes. I like to sit quietly while doing this but if need be, do it on the fly. The cleansing will be done when you ask for it, no matter how or when you ask.

You can ask for assistance from:

The Overlighting Deva of the piece of land you want to clean. This being holds the divine plan for this piece of land. 

• Angels overlighting the land. They work with the Deva of the land.
• The Elementals of the land. These are the beings who bring your land into actual form and then hold it there so we can live in a world of form.
• Pan, Head Elemental of Earth.

Any Ascended Master of God realized being who is connected with this piece of land. There may or may not be any connected depending on the piece of land.

• Deva of the Earth’s atmosphere, Lunaria. 
• Deva of the Earth’s surface, Sapphalo.
• Deva of the sun in the center of the Earth, Darndella.
• Our Sun, Helios and Vesta

You do not need to list all the names above to get help!  Just SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS and ask for all the appropriate Angels and Elementals of the land to help you for the highest and best good of all concerned.

After you call in some variation of this group, ask them to CLEANSE, CLEAR, RE-BALANCE AND ILLUMINATE the land you are clearing. You can ask them to clear the EMOTIONAL, MENTAL, PHYSICAL, AND ETHERIC BODIES of the land realign with the source of all that is, pure divinity.

Ask that any negativity be released through a GRID OF LOVE. This is just a way to describe a cleansing filter that purifies the energies so that they do not come back to the land again.

You can visualize all the negativity being removed from the land both below and above ground or you DON’T HAVE TO VISUALIZE anything. The land will still be cleansed because you have asked to have it done. Close the session with a thanks to everyone involved. AND I THANK YOU as do the Elementals for your efforts!

Golden Wolf Speaks on Unity Consciousness

I thought this might be thought provoking. I do not agree with everything in it, but it felt right to share it with you. My knowing about this time is that the outcome is all in divine order, and that if we stay focused on the vision of what we want to live now and in the future, that all will be well. No matter what it looks like right now, this is the time to hold our visions, dreams and desires steady in our knowing that Spirit wants us to have what we truly want. The Universe is the mechanism that responds to the group consciousness and creates from that input. So, be sure you're focusing on what you truly want - not what you don't want because the pictures you create, both negative and positive have great power in this time of chaos and creation.


GOLDEN WOLF:

We have a funny way at looking at the current Earth Changes. In the Japan earthquake event, one elder said the Whale Brother/Sisters have spoken, "high-fiving" it in the ocean. We have to NOT get bogged down in tragedy and fear.
It blocks the lifeline and information from spirit. The Great Spirit and all its helpers are watching this grand play knowing everyone is eternal. They watch some make it, watch some listening, and some not making it and not listening in full awareness of your eternal nature.
When a soul does not make it and enters the heaven that matches their vibration they are greeted with a "high-five" and great effort you almost made it by those in the spirit world. This is often followed by a great sense of relief and both belly laughing.
For those who want to continue their journey in the physical and want to listen here is a heads up. Your Earth, the grand mother and giver of your physical body, is ascending, changing her frequencies and going to the next level of her expression.

This is a BIRTHING PROCESS and not all births are easy. For some who listen and prepare the birth will be easier, for those who don't harder and some will find themselves birthed into the heavens. The most ancient of ancestors were from the stars.

They are returning. Many of them and their structures are now molten rock due to the nature of what come call plate tectonics. Some of their more recent structures before the last cataclysms remain; which cannot be duplicated to this day.

There are subduction zones where the plates are going under, recycled into molten rock and zones where the Earth is rising again anew. The 9th Wave of change into unity consciousness, the solar flares, the Moon cycles, the Galactic Core Alignments, planetary alignments and gravitational fields of large incoming objects all play a part in the expansion and movement of the Earth.

The time compression where what used to take centuries will now HAPPEN IN WEEKS is at play, the sun cycles, CMEs Solar Flares, and the alignment with Hunabku Galactic Center are well explained by the Mayan Calendar and other Nations Prophecies.

What is happening in Japan and many other islands is the movement of these plates. Many islands are going under some are rising depending on their location. Whole continents like the ancient Mu or Lemuria are raising from underneath the oceans some ancient cities like Atlantis are being exposed due to the melting of the poles.

Many of these ancient cities are 2,000 feet beneath the sea. Do you know why many Native cultures do not easily embrace technology? It is because those were their ancestors and in some cases EXTREME ABUSE of technologies NOT unlike today brought about their demise.

The Earth you used to depend on to be stable will NO longer provide that stability. She is being shaken, transformed, experiencing huge influxes of energy, the poles both magnetic and physical are shifting and it is time the lost ones awaken and listen to their mother.

This is NOT the first time your soul has had this experience. The ones who listened last time are the ones who's genetics remained. It is a natural process of cleaning up the gene pool of those who refuse to awaken. This is not to promote fear it is to move beyond denial of our physical bodies and their relationship to the Earth and Great Spirit.

Time and a half is over. The grace period has ended.

The reckless greed and tyranny due to the false belief in separation of your physical bodies to the Earth body and Spirit is coming to a close.

Unity consciousness includes all Creation. It is time to listen, act through wisdom not fear, work in harmony with each other and the Earth. If she tells you to move, move.

Solar Flares Affecting Consciousness

Before I get to the SOLAR FLARE article , I want these paradigms to be in your mind when you read it.
I’ve been feeling the effects of Solar Flares since last year. As a Leo with five planets in fire, I’m very attuned to that energy. We’re firing up the new grid, so now is the time to implement your new and good into your life. The earth crystals are releasing the new DNA programs, and the Crystal Children are here and looking to us to help them implement the new systems and paradigms. 

10 NEW PARADIGMS TO SHIFT YOUR LIFE:
Here are some new paradigms to consider as you’re focusing on what you want in this new world:

1. You can be supported for who you are and what you love to do and live as and where you want.
2. You can choose to step outside the matrix of the world and still be supported, successful and thriving.
3. You can create new paradigms to share with other open hearted people.
4. You can learn through joy, love, passion and the perfect manifestation of your divine self.
5. You can be and do whatever you choose.
6. You can be in a state of love no matter what is happening around you.
7. All is divine order, balance, harmony & oneness.
8. You are everything you need to be. You do not have to become anything else, just express your true self.
9. All is abundance, there is only abundance and allowance of abundance, if you choose it.
10. You are always on your path and all is well.

Is it Bad to be a Spiritual Jack of All Trades?

Why is it that we often think those who offer many different skills and talents are somehow lacking something? Do we really think that only those who specialize in one spiritual skill or practice are better at it than others?
This is an old paradigm and should be discarded as we grow, evolve, and change. We can acquire gifts, talents and skills to use in every aspect of our lives for ourselves and to help others. I do believe it’s meant for us to develop all our skills and use them in our lives first and share them as needed. This is another paradigm that some people hold, that you can’t use your skills to help yourself. How did that get started? 
The skills and talents we exhibit at the early stages of our development get mastered as we receive them, use them and teach them. Then we are open to learning a new set of skills and connecting with another talent, gift or level of our Self.
When I first began my conscious spiritual path, I was interested in developing my psychic, intuitive and ESP skills because they were already active, and I did not know we could develop them further. So, that fascinated me. After studying ways to access those skills, using them in practice groups and getting feedback on my accuracy, I was encouraged to use what I had learned to help other people. So I began doing public readings, first at Psychic Fairs and Rennaissance Festivals, and then privately.I honed these skills to a level of mastery. Then I began teaching others to access and develop their own intuitive natures.
Now, I use psychic skills in my everyday life, my businesses and with everyone I meet if they ask me a question or pose a challenge that requires these skills. I focus less on promoting this level of my intuition now, but that does not mean it is gone or out of practice. What it means is that I have mastered the skills and integrated them into who I am. I have brought that aspect of my higher self into everything I do. I am a psychic and visionary. We all can be.
Then I began studying healing techniques. While working with healing, I encountered one of my deceased grandmothers who was a healer, and she helped me get better in tune with my natural healing abilities that were passed down through our bloodline. I also studied Reiki, created a healing laboratory inside myself with Silva Mind Control and developed my xray vision into human bodies. I became an open and conscious conduit for universal healing energies and wisdom.
I even channeled an herbal doctor who taught me about the healing properties and mystical uses of herbs. To appease my mind about what I was being given to tell people, I studied herbs and nutrition and mystical texts about herbs. I rapidly discovered that everything I was told had been documented to be effective and on track. So, I began to trust the power of the channels of healing that I had opened. And so, I am a healer. I also applied those skills in my own life to my body and for my children. However, I did not choose to promote myself as a healer. That does not mean that my skills are any less powerful than someone who is a known alternative health provider. It simply means that I have integrated it into my life and use it as needed. I am a healer. We all can be.
Then I began to work more consciously with channeling beings from other planes of existence. At first, it seemed so amazing that some high level unseen being was giving me wisdom to share with others. We often give more credence to the unseen than to the seen beings in our lives. That too is an old paradigm. We all have wisdom to share. And, we can only contact beings at a level close to our personal frequency. Many of these beings are our peers, but we are told that we should be humble, so we give credit to the other beings and never acknowledge our ability to reach higher and grow at leaps and bounds.
If we buy into this paradigm, we stunt our growth and keep ourselves beneath some other being. We can all talk to the angels and ascended masters and receive messages from them, if we trust what we hear. The truth is that we are all One, that anything anyone can know, be or do, we can know, be or do if we allow it, if we open up to it, if we accept it as our true nature. There is no need to hide your wisdom behind a veil of humility. That is a paradigm of fear, the fear that we won’t be loved if we are different, smarter, wiser, or more talented. And yet, those who excel are admired and recognized for their gifts. It’s a paradox, I like to say a pair of ducks.
Love who you truly are, allow your light to shine. Stop pretending you don’t know your own strength and power and step up in your life. This is the way we will change the world, by everyone doing what they love, being who they are, and recognizing and owning their own mastery.
I am a healer, teacher, psychic, mystic, writer, channel and a unique expression of divinity. Am I less skilled because I have mastered many levels of my spiritual abilities? I think not, and you do not have to focus on one thing your whole life to master it, unless you want to and choose to. As soon as you believe you can master something, you are halfway there. Everything else will line up to guide the mastery from the highest level of being that you are, your own divinity.

In honor of my 60th Birthday, I just posted a bunch of new articles on my website. Check it out and see if any of the titles appeal to you. Also, below is the newsletter I just sent to my subscribers:
Just to catch everyone up, I traveled to Houston last July to do a corporate project. Then I spent five months in Florida reconnecting with family members. My brother got his second heart transplant. What are the chances?  Then I headed back to Taos, and found things were not working out the way I would like them to. I was frustrated and in a very low state, so I went up to Loveland CO to visit my friends, Claire and Robear. With their help and Jeannine Grahn's help (my psychic/healer friend from Taos), I began to regain a sense of balance and purpose.
I was told by my guides that I should focus on my writing and I would be supported. So, I took their advice and began working on my new website, sandypenny.com. That name had been taken for years, but I always wanted it, and I just checked one day and found it was available. Check it out when you get a chance.
On Aug. 9, I left to go to Albuquerque to visit my friend Tom with whom I've stayed before when things were still forming. I had no idea where I was headed next. It’s not always easy or comfortable to leap empty-handed into the void as you follow your guidance.
Early this week, my friend Mary Martha from Houston called to tell me a friend of a friend was in need of a roommate near Albuquerque. I knew immediately that this was it, but I still had my fears. I went out to meet Nathan Main, who used to live in Houston and who is a renowned healer who does energy clearings and many other metaphysical practices. We hit it off immediately, and he had been told that a spiritual person would show up, the right person, and to wait for that to happen. He knew right away that I was the one he was waiting for.
So, today, the day after my 60th birthday, I moved into his wonderful home to share the house for a year and then check in with our guidance. He said he could introduce me to all kinds of people, and that has already started. Things are going great, but the darkest hour was just before the dawn. I feel so relieved to be settling into a great place to write, do readings and healings and once again to facilitate classes in my home. It's great.
While I was packing today to make the move, I was inspired to write an article titled "Myths of Being Psychic." Click the link to go to my site and read it. There are other articles there as well, and on an audio meditation page, you can listen to several of my meditations recorded in my voice.

Can Psychic Skills Improve Your Business?

The first time I used my psychic skills in a business setting I was 24 and working as Secretary to the Dean at the Christ Church Cathedral in Houston, Texas. I had just finished reading “Think and Grow Rich,” by Napoleon Hill, and I was eager to try out the techniques he gave for creating what you want in life. I felt it would be as life changing for me as reading “The Power of Positive Thinking,” when I was 10 years old. At the same time, I was very concerned for my friend T who was out of work, depressed and looking for something new in her life. I knew I wanted a business, but I did not know what kind or how my skills would be most useful. So, I outlined my program to attract a business idea.
My first affirmation that I repeated many times before I went to bed was, “I attract to me and recognize an opportunity to create a business that uses all my skills, and supports me in doing what I love.” I wrote it down, put it on my mirror and read it while I brushed my teeth. I put it on my fridge and read it every time I opened the door. I put it on my visor in my car, and read it when I drove. At the same time, one of my activities before going to sleep was to send out good energy for family and friends. So, I affirmed that T would find work that she loved that would excite her and bring her more joy in her life. I repeated this every night for a couple of weeks. One night I dreamed that I had a new business. I didn’t see what it was, but I felt very strongly that my program had reached my subconscious mind, and was now feeding back the program to my conscious mind. I was excited by that, and it has since become a way of knowing when my program is working
Two weeks after I began my program, I was at work one day hosting the Lunchtime in the Garden program that I created to help the Cathedral draw more people to the church. A man I knew from my community theater group, where I had also met T, came into the courtyard. I didn’t really know him very well, but when he saw me, he made a beeline over to where I was. He began pacing back and forth as if something were bothering him. I said, “Are you OK?” “Well,” he scratched his head as he continued, “I don’t exactly know how to begin this conversation.” “OK,” I said, having no idea what was up with him, “I’ve found it’s best just to jump in.” “Well, all right then,” he said hesitantly. “I had a dream last night about a new business. I saw myself creating a business using local acting talent and musicians, and writing and marketing targeted scripts and stage productions to businesses. I can’t for the life of me figure out why. I’m a lawyer, and I have no desire for a new business, hell, I can’t even write. But when I saw you, a feeling came over me that I was supposed to tell you about it. I don’t know why, it just was kind of overwhelming.” “Hmmm,” I said, “That’s really interesting. I've been sending out vibes to attract a new business idea.” “Well, you can have this one if you want it," he said, "Maybe I can get it off my mind if you take it.” “OK, I’ll think it over. Thanks. I really appreciate it.”
Stunned by the odd conversation and its relationship to my program, I wondered if someone could just walk up to you and give you an answer with no knowledge of the question beforehand. What a concept. I was game to explore the idea though, and that’s a key, being willing to take the next step when you recognize a synchronicity. A couple of nights later, I visited T and told her about this strange meeting. She said, “I’ve often tried to think of a way to better use local talent.” Then she looked at me wide eyed and exclaimed, “Oh wow, you could write the scripts, and I could manage the productions. We could do this together. And, I’ve even got the name for it, “PenniWell Productions, a combination of our last names. I had not seen her so excited in a long time. It hit me that Houston being the oil and gas capital of the world, everyone would recognize PenniWell as associated with the oil and gas publishing company. We wouldn’t have to say we were connected, there would just be a subliminal name recognition.
So, we began, and it was amazing how we could get access to top level executives with just a phone call. They all seemed to think they had heard of us. Soon, we had clients, and I wrote my first play, “The Toys’ First Christmas,” for the opening of Greenspoint Mall. It was the mall’s first Christmas, and this was a 15-minute puppet show that could be performed in during the Christmas season to draw more shoppers. It was fun, and it was a hit. I even made the puppets. We went on to create roasts for company executives, awards ceremonies for sales groups and scripts for trade show models. After a while, we both felt it was time to move on, and I began managing a secretarial service.
After five years managing the service, I was bored and ready for a change. I had also gotten very immersed in metaphysical studies and wanted to do something that incorporated more of that lifestyle into my daily life, and my inner entrepreneur was begging to be set free. So, it was time to write a new program. Once again, I didn’t know what kind of business to start, so here’s how the program went: “I am creating a business that uses all the skills I like to use, my graphic design background, my writing, my spirituality, that serves the greater good and supports me and my son with enough money to live our comfortable lifestyle.”
At the time, that included a car note, car insurance, daycare, health insurance, a house note, all the utilities required to support a home, and of course, food, clothing and entertainment for me and my son. Also, I wanted to start my business before the end of the year, and I had no money to invest. It was September when I wrote the program. My programming techniques had evolved through further studies, and instead of just repeating and repeating, I visualized having this business in a meditative state. One day I heard in meditation, “You are the daughter of the Rising Sun and this shall be your symbol.” I asked what that meant, and heard, “You’ll know when to use it.”
Around Thanksgiving, I was doing readings at a psychic fair, having now recognized my psychic abilities and developed them through the Chapel of Prayer with Eleanor Button and many others. Attendance was down, and it seemed that everyone was complaining that now that the “Common Ground” metaphysical events calendar was no longer being published, there was nowhere to advertise events and classes. Attendees at the fair were saying they missed knowing what was going on. Twenty people must have come up to me and repeated the same thing.
Suddenly, a light bulb went on over my head, and it was like hitting the jackpot on a slot machine, ding, ding, ding, ding. A simple thought formed in my head, “I could do that.” And then, “Wow, I could do that.” I spoke with Eleanor Button about it, and she was very excited and encouraging. But, I had never started a newspaper, and I didn’t know quite where to begin. Obviously, a newspaper would let me use my graphic design skills, my writing, my sales experience, everything on my list, but would it support me?
Eleanor had an old copy of “Common Ground,” and I took it home with me. I was inspired to call their phone number to see who answered and just talk to them about starting something new. I reached Catherine Shugert. She was their answering service, and owner of Pilgrim’s Path Bookstore. She said, “Come over and meet me, and let’s see what we can do.” Obviously, she also needed a place to advertise her bookstore. It turned out that she had the entire client list and was the person who called clients for advertising. She gave me the list and said she’d love to be my answering service. She became that and much more to me, one of my longest term spiritual teachers and a lifetime friend.
After browsing through a stack of old “Common Grounds,” it became apparent that I would need to add some articles to expand interest, and because I wanted to write them. This could provide me the opportunity to meet every spiritual teacher in Houston and get to know what they were offering. It became my fast track to spiritual growth. Then I realized that obviously the “Common Ground” was not meeting its community’s needs if it went out of business while clients were begging for a place to advertise. How could I find out what they wanted that they were not getting? I wrote a few articles and borrowed some ads from the old paper and made up a dummy of what I planned to offer. I knew the name had to be “The Rising Sun” from my earlier meditation.
I then got the brilliant idea to call every advertiser and invite them to a party to discuss creating a new community newspaper to serve them better. About 50 people came to the party, and by the end of the gathering, I had sold enough ads in this non-existent newspaper to pay for printing the first issue. With checks in hand, my no investment criteria had been met. I also had a notebook full of ideas for future issues. The day after I published my first issue, my boss at the secretarial service fired me. She said it was a conflict of interest. Now the newspaper had to support me ... and it did.
The theme throughout this part of my life was trusting the intuitive information enough to take steps in the direction of what I wanted as ideas surfaced. That built my foundation on leaps of faith based on my intuition. I now use that same skill to help others do what they want to do in their lives.
Whether it’s business or personal, the process is the same. Your life is an integrated experience, and your business should support you in a way that is in harmony with your overall life goals.

Key # 3: Activating the Magnetic Field

The first step to getting on track to realize your own destiny in all areas of your life has to do with shifting from a way of creating that is strategic to one that is co-creative and magnetic.

Instead of seeking to get things from life or achieve goals externally, begin to tap into the source of creativity inside yourself. You can do this by tapping into the deeper desires that you're holding in your body.

Practice:
1.     Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Allow the center of your awareness to deepen into your body. Breathe into the center of the most connected, wisest part of yourself, all the way in your hips.
2.     Imagine that you're stepping into a field of limitless possibility and that you're surrounded by a field of limitless support for the realization of your greatest gifts and contributions.
3.     From this center of awareness, ask yourself the questions: "What do I most deeply desire to...
·      experience in my life...?
·      express through my life...?
·      create in my life...?
·      contribute to others and the world...?
4.     Welcome in any awareness you have of the answers to these questions, or notice the sensations you feel when you ask these questions to the deepest parts of yourself. Breath deeply into each desire as though you were inhaling the rich fragrance of a rose, fully welcoming and embracing them with each breath!
5.     Ask yourself: "What's my next step to be able to experience, express, create and contribute these deeper desires in my life?"
6.   Listen for the answer from the deepest part of yourself. Then, act on this knowing!
By welcoming in your deepest desires you begin to activate the source of co-creativity in your life and become magnetic to all the support you need to realize these potentials. You'll also begin to tap into your inner wisdom and guidance about the next step on your journey.
